Was their marriage doomed to fail?

Kasey wondered if Jodan Caine was entirely honest when he said he'd married her in good faith. He claimed he wanted a wife to act as his hostess, to manage his home and to warm is bed. He hadn't mentioned that it was also to quench his desire for his brother's wife.

Yet how could Kasey accuse Jodan of dishonorable motives when her own reasons for becoming Mrs Jodan Caine were hardly admirable?

Then Kasey complicated matters by falling in love with her new husband--despite not knowing how Jodan really felt about it all!
