Written by the former head of Britain's MI5. A spy thriller, not on the level of LeCarre or Furst, but well written and well plotted. I'll definitely read her next book.

Tight, spare, writing that holds your attention. The main character, Liz, is professional, focused, and complex enough to be interesting. Unlike many in this genre, there is not a lot of excess background story, or philosophizing. Great Read.

Fabulous spy novel written by the former head of M15 herself. I loved Liz. I loved that she was flawed, yet knew herself and knew her job. The mystery was fantastic. I didn't see the twist coming at the end! I highly recommend this spy series to anyone who loves a good thriller.

Well written, fast paced story-loved the heroine. Looking forward to reading the next in the series. Ms. Rimington knows what she writes about.
