Diane Whiteside delivers another solid book filled with interesting characters where the heroes are tough and true, and the villains get what's coming to them. The heroine is smart and resourceful, and willing to go with the flow to get to her ultimate goal. Set on the Missouri River post Civil War, the historical references are solid and pertinent. The hero has more mainstream desires (than those of the Irish Devil of the first book in the series), but indulges in them with gusto once he has the heroine in his grasp. I highly recommend this book for excitement, historical accuracy, interesting characters and steamy sex - a very nice package!
Great book!
A decent read, but not as exciting as The Irish Devil.
