Robert Keppel of the FBI conducted a series of prison interviews with Ted Bundy, supposedly to obtain informaton on how a killer thinks in order to catch the Green River Killer. What emerged from the interviews was a chilling account of how Bundy committed his own crimes. The book chronicles Bundy's attempt to manipulate the system to postpone his execution. The reader will be impressed with Keppel's skill in obtaining a look into the mind of this narcissistic and completely remorseless serial killer. An engaging read for those who like the true-crime genre!

Disturbing book in practice and theroy.Ted Bundy was treated like a media God instead of the Cold blooded killer that he was,I find it laughable that Ted Bundy would be able to shed any light on how to catch another killer or what motivated the green river killer. I read this out of curiousity and came away from it mad and well madder. This was ridiculous but it is a great example of what not to do in a murder investigation and gee the importance and power Ted must of felt by being ask to participate in this.Lets hope we never glamorize and play to the ego of another brutal monster the way we did Ted Bundy.

This book was written by Robert Keppel, one of the task force investigators who helped to track down Ted Bundy. This book details his work with the Bundy case and then goes on to discuss the case of the Green River Killer. Using many of Bundy's frightening insights as a sort of profile, Keppel and his team go on to find Gary Leon Ridgeway, the man known as the Gree River Killer.

It is fascinating how accurate Bundy's predictions were in the hunt for Ridgeway. It is also fascinating to read how close it seemed that Keppel got to seeing the true Ted Bundy. This book is also the basis for the TV-movie called "The Riverman". I highly recommend this book. If you enjoy Anne Rule, you'll like this one as well.

This book is about the case of the Green River Killer, Gary Ridgway. It is also about the case of Ted Bundy. It tells how detectives interviewed Ted Bundy in hopes of getting new insight into the the Green River killings. Many of Bundy's predictions about the Green River killer were accurate. This book contains much information about these two cases.
