As much as I love Aaronovitch's Rivers of London, I have to reluctantly conclude that graphic novels are not for me. I read the text bubbles but apparently I don't look at the pictures, so a few pages in I discover I don't know who the characters are. The artwork is lovely, and it's fun to see the small stories that we see referenced in the books. I can check these out of the library so I might keep going just because I want to know those little bits. For instance, in this one you will figure out where Beverly's 'servant" Maxim comes from.
