The 4th and last book in the series of "The Galway Chronicles". This novel is very emotional, Following the same family throughout the series. You are taken through many adversities with the Irish, injustice, famine, and finally escape to the new world. A must read, learning History through fiction. dg

The Galway Chronicles
It is October 1844. With the death of the evil Colonel Mahon & the greates harvest of potatoes in living memory, it looks like peace & prosperity are finally on the way to the village of Ballyknockanor. But this is only the calm before the storm.
