I've read this book twice--once in the '90's and once again this year. It is very unique and the author has a wonderful sense of humor.

From the back cover--Youre invited to leave your hectic schedule for a while and come backpacking through the Gospels. As you take this spiritual journey, The Road Best Traveled with be your field-guide to the highlights of Jesus adventures and what they mean to you.

Jesus told His followers that there are only two roads: 1) a wide freeway where you can cruise your way into a mess, at high speed; or 2) a single lane track that is harder to find, requires a slower pace, carries some great risks, and yet is decidedly safer.

This single lane track is the one Jesus recommends, and The Road Best Traveled is for anyone who wants to discover why.

If youve never trekked with Jesus, or if you took this single lane road once upon a time but got side-tracked, or even if youre presently traveling with Jesus and have no intention of doing otherwiseThe Road Best Traveled is for you.
