This is an old book, dense, full of information about those gentlemen who created capitalism in this country, built railroads, steel industry, financial houses, and were, as the title indicates, Robber Barons. You'll get a good look at their personalities, modes of work....all ringing a very familiar bell. It's happeneing all over again, on Wall Street. Driven men, greedy for power and money, extremely successful, and personally very difficult to get along with.
