I posted here yesterday about a problem with my acc't, and some of you had some suggestions I tried, and it still didn't work. I sent my problem through feedback yesterday, and heard promptly from R & R-or the PBS librarian today with what they thought the problem might be and some solutions to try-so I tried one, rebooted my computer, and everything works now! What a HUGE relief! (and it turned out to be on my computer, not a PBS glitch). So here is a positive post thanking R & R and the librarian, not only helping me solve the problem, but for their super-quick response! I don't know how many other people who run sites would answer feedback on a SUNDAY! And also thanks for those who offered other ideas that might work. I think my computer is "spotless" now! :o)

I know what you mean, Bonnie. They are so super fast on the responses that I worry when they take more than a day (weekends included) to answer something! I worry that someone is sick or something! They are tremendously quick at fixing problems and answering issues that the Tour Guides can't answer, it is just amazing. The TGs are good at answering questions that are surface issues, but when it gets into glitches and such, we can't do much with those, and have to occasionally refer people to the PBS Team. It just never ceases to amaze me at how many of those people are helped within a day, if not hours of sending in their question or problem. The Team seems to always be available, and I also wish to thank them for their efforts at keeping this site running so smoothly! |
