Lately, I've been obsessed with tales of Robin Hood (who may or may not have been a real historical person.)  I do have some anthologies with short tales, poems etc.  But I'd like to read some novels or longer stories about him.  Anyone know of any good books out there?

Or non-fiction would be O.K., too.  Thanks!

Maybe you've found them, but these "Listmania" lists on Amazon include some Robin Hood books.  Mine is for ages 4-8 :)  Although the first list has a lot of children's books, they aren't all children's books, BTW.

Good luck finding something there!

Have you read Lady of the Forest or Lady of Sherwood by Jennifer Roberson?  Lady of the Forest I read a long time ago and remember really liking it.  Lady of Sherwood I read in May and didn't like it nearly as much but it was still good.

Parke Godwin wrote two Robin Hood books - Sherwood and Robin & the King.  Both good.

There is also Stephen R. Lawhead's King Raven Trilogy.  The first book is Hood and the second, Scarlet just came out in June.  They looked pretty good to me so I just added them to my WL.
