I just finished this book and really enjoyed it.  Has anyone else here read it, and if so, would you like to discuss it?  I've also read his previous 2 books, The Kitchen Boy and Rasputin's Daughter, and enjoyed them as well.  The Romanov Bride was similar in style and subject matter to these 2, and I found that all 3 fit together nicely.

I'm so curious about this one! I loved Kitchen Boy, thought Rasputin's Daughter was good, and I'm dying to know if this new one is as great as Kitchen Boy. So, Sheryl, was it as good as The Kitchen Boy?

HI Valli, Sorry it's takren a few days to reply, I don't get online much on the weekends.

I thought Kitchen Boy was the best of the three.  The difference between The Kitchen Boy and The Romanov Bride is that in Romanov Bride, you know how it ends for one of the 2 main characters from the information given in the prologue, whereas in the Kitchen Boy the ending is totally a surprise.  The ending for the other main character in Romanov Bride was a surprise to me, and overall I really enjoyed the book.  Was it as good as the Kitchen Boy?  Well, I still thought Kitchen Boy was better because of the total surprise ending, but I enjoyed Romanov Bride very much as well.
