Alan Epstein writes about what it is to live in Rome. Great if you ever have been to Rome or would just like to go there some day.

Rome is a great place to visit and a delightful place to live. Alan Epstein moved his family to Rome in 1195. In this book he talks about the city and its people - a place alive with pleasure and both pagan and Christian.
