This books describes in detail with many many illustrations the world of the Romans from the founding of the city to the decline of the Empire.
It shows every aspect of daily life as well as a very easy to understand and clear historical outline of the period. Lots of color pictures, maps, diagrams and summaries of dates for easy reference.
To the point, detailed great homeschool book or just a good book for learining about ancient Rome.
