Great book for transracially adopted children. My daughters are Chinese - ages 4 and 6. I bought this book years ago and waited until the time seemed right to talk about transracial families - they were starting to notice our family looks different. This book may particularly appeal to families who have a bio child and a transracially adopted child, as the schnauzers in the book have an adopted beagle and a bio schnauzer. The book illustrates all different kinds of families, including single parent families. It is written with sensitivity and a little humor.
