An exporation of a very disfunctional family that has generations of secrets. The grand-neice has newly inherited a large estate. Her mother left this small Ohio town to marry against her father's wishes and never has gone back. The small town isn't very welcoming and the family has a history of being bullies. No one has stood up the to the towns repressors but This young woman has inherited her great aunts tenacity and is standing her ground. Luckily there are several people willing to support her. A surprising mystery that I really enjoyed.
