This was a very readable and well written account of the life of Ruffian. I really enjoyed the book.
This an excellent book that tells the story of an extraordinary filly. It dramatically grabs a hold of you from the beginning when she was born and takes you to the gut-wrenching end. It shows the affect she had on so many people around her. I would highly recommend this book for people who love horses and the sport of horse racing.
