Is anyone going to see the movie version of "The Ruins" that opens this weekend?

I just got back from the theater and I have to say that it's a pretty good adaptation of the book. Some things were changed around - different characters dying in different ways, etc.; but overall, it was an enjoyable and entertaining movie.

I just saw it. First The Ruins, then 10,000 B.C. To my surprise, The Ruins was by far the more entertaining movie.

It was fun. Not scary, but some parts did make me squirm.

The Ruins bored me. I also agree it was a good adaptation of the book, but I thought the book wasn't all that interesting either.LOL. For a newbie to the horror genre, I suppose it could be considered a decent *almost* horror flick. For one that has been around the block a couple of times, it wasn't all that great. I agree there were some squirmy parts, but it was all pretty predictable.

I just saw it with DH. It was fun to watch him squirm. It was quite gory. The ending was different than the book.
