Run silent run Deep is a wonderful story of the silent life of the men who destroyed the Japanese merchant marine after the attack on Pearl Harbor, told with lots of details about two strong headed men: their loves, jealousies and their destinies in the loney adn demanding struggle of war. I read it as a fresman in high school and loved it and had to find another copy.. and I am so thankful for PBS and the gracious member who sent the great copy of it..
