Excellent -- 6 friends, 40 years, 1 guilty secret.
In my personal library! One of the best ever crime novels!
Reads like a mini-series. Follow the lives of six kids from Ryer Avenue and the terrible secret that binds them.
Diverse group of school friends are unexpectedly put together in an act of violence that kills a man (or does it?). They vow to never speak of it again. We follow their lives and eventually they must all come together and deal with it. Very good writing.
This is a fantastic book! It skips from character to character allowing you to truly get into the minds and lives of the six main characters. Even though this book was written over a decade ago, it did not strike me as dated, unlike most books written that long ago. I lost many hours of sleep because I just couldn't put this book down. When I did put it down, I lay there wondering what twist the author would throw at me next. The ending was unexpected and left me feeling very satisfied. I HIGHLY recommend this book.
