Hey, I'm following something called "The S Diet". The rules of this plan are pretty simple. No snacks, No sweets, no seconds, except for days that begin with S. Saturday and Sunday's. Oh and Special days. If you go to amazon.com you can read the reviews. I got the book from paperbackswap. Had it on my wishlist for a couple weeks and I'm glad I have it now! I've tried all sorts of plans in the past. But, I hate having to count calories or points and I hate having to guess where my hunger is on a 1-10 as another book mentioned. This plan makes it simple and straight forward. You can eat 1 plate of food, 3 times a day. You can eat what you want as long as it fits on the plate without stacking. I am day 10 today and I've lost 3 pds so far. I just began exercising today. It's slow loss, but looks like I'll be losing 2 pds per week. And I don't feel like I'm missing any of my favorite foods and I can eat what everyone else is eatting for dinner. You can have a little sugar in your coffee or like I can have frosted mini wheats. But just not something that's main ingredient is sugar. You gotta save that for the weekend. There is also a message board www.nosdiet.com

I hope to make this my new way of eatting.

But I consider every day to be a special day. ;)

I just wanted to thank you for posting about fasting. So far, I've only fasted one day, a week ago today(am going to attempt another day today, we'll see). But it gave me the drive and determination to get back into a healthier lifestyle and diet. It's been a week and I've done well, my motivation is still strong and gaining. So THANK YOU for that!!
