TWICE this week I have had to sign in and accept a book I have on auto request.....all my WLED BOOKS ARE MARKED YES...TO AUTO....WHY is it asking me to sign in and accept within x amount of time?
Thanks ahead |

Were they offered to you once before and then timed out or you were returned to the front of the WL line? If so, then it was returned on manual request. You need to go back and return it to AR in those cases. If this is not the case, and you have extra credits available to cover the AR, then you should report the glitch to TPTB, using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. |

Hey ya Jane and thanks...no I have never had a book time out...no life...lol so I can always get here...never went on a vacation hold as I have a lap top...goes with me...when I have left home.....I may just do the feedback thing because I NEVER had this happen before and IF I had been say without power...I would have missed out on 2 really good books
Thanks :) |

Sandy, I think Jane meant if the book had been offered to you before and timed out on the SENDER's end, not yours--or if a book went lost in the mail or the sender canceled....not that you neglected an order. LOL If you had let a book order from your wishlist time out yourself it gets removed completely. I just had two WL books come up yesterday and like you my whole WL is autorequested and it worked fine, so could be a glitch and I'd let PBS know if you're sure those books were on auto. I had a sender cancel a book I had WL'd (with autorequest on) and I had to turn the autorequest back on when it was returned to my wishlist. The same may have happened to you. Did you check your transaction history to see if any orders were cancelled? (But I would still write to TPTB since, as you said, you could have missed out on the books. Maybe this is a programming feature that can be changed.) |
