Thought I'd ask people in this forum what they think of this book.  I used to love Dean Koontz, but his recent books have turned me off.   I found STRANGERS at a flea market and since it was written in 1986, I thought I would start to read it.  Can anyone tell me if it is too "dated" or what their opinions of it are?

Thanks in advance,

Philly

It has been a long time since I read it.  But I did enjoy it.  It is more like his old stuff.  His recent books turn me off too!!!  But the first time I read it I only got part way thru and put it aside for awhile.  The second time I picked it up I read it and did enjoy it.

It's one of my favorite Koontz books.   I haven't read it in years and thanks to your post I'm going to get it off my bookshelf, dust it off and enjoy

it again.  Happy reading.

I loved this book. I read it the day it was released and never forgot it.

This was one of my favorites, too.  It's really long, but it doesn't seem like it while you're reading it.  I really like stories like this (and King's The Stand), where you have several individual storylines about different characters, and you can't wait for them to all come together, and when they do, it's SO worth the wait!
