Attorney Scott Ellis is defending Lester Garrison, a 16 year-old accused of opening gunfire on a Sunday afternoon on a gathering of high-school students one Sunday afternoon. Scott volunteers as a advisor for a mock trial at the High School and renews an old acquaintance, a teacher, his highschool "girl of his dreams". Should he pursue this relationship?
