Sadie Shapiro's Knitting Book
Author: Robert Kimmel Smith

A DELIGHTFUL book. A feel-good book. I am the kind of person who prefers the old movies that have a happy ending. Life is too hard to watch (or read) stories that end dreadfully.
The main character is Sadie Shapiro. The kind of person you want to hang around with. She is full of life and positive energy. She is living at the Mount Eden Senior Citizen Hotel located in Queens. Sadie has been knitting since her son was born. Now Sadie is in her 70s when she submits 50 of her best knitting patterns to Harbor House, a 3rd rate publishing house. what happens next is both warm and funny.
An easy read. The kind of book that will put a smile on your face.
