Jack Valentine is having a very bad day. He's chronically unhappy, unfulfilled and broke; his girlfriend has left him; and he's just been hit by a truck. Still, when he wakes up in a hospital covered in bruises, he's certain it's all happening for a reason. Jack meets someone in the hospital, who sends Jack on a journey around the world to meet three teachers (the saint, surfer and CEO), who guide him through a spiritual transformation and help him answer the three questions.

Having read his previous book, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, I was excitedly anticipating reading this one. I could barely put it down. He's an awesome story teller while incorporating lessons to live life by. On the negative side both left me wanting to know what the person did with the knowledge they gain. I also found the sections where he's spending time with someone for training sometimes short. He gives the least detail regarding the character's time with the CEO then any of the other two teachers which I felt odd. On the plus side I think the book covers a great many things that people have gotten sidetracked on. Although the descriptions of the character's time with the CEO was not as detailed, he did cover a several issues that would help a lot of people be better in business and happier with their jobs. I definitely would recommend.
