I really wanted to like this book a lot. I liked many of the elements - setting in Maine, nun turned FBI heroine, lobsterman turned FBI hero, meddling young priest, small tight knit community, but somehow the whole just didn't add up to "great!" for me. I was left feeling like I was outside the action instead of part of it. The mystery was built up for so long that there wasn't much to its resolution. This is the first book in the series and I do want to give the next one a try. Maybe I'll feel more of a connection the next time.

I try Neggers once in a while but this one was terrible!

So very very slow from the beginning and so much description it was just so boring! It takes about 6 pages just get past when Emma and Colin meet and why his boat ran ashore etc. and it was so boring and ridiculous.

I don't know anything about art, don't want to know so this just didn't get my attention at all, but I'll try her again although she isn't one I try to look for.
