*2 large cans peeled tomatoes
(I use two 28 oz cans of diced tomatoes)
*1 or 2 Serrano peppers
(don’t have to add these, I do for extra heat)
*Onion (some times I add half an onion but not always)
*Several tablespoons of sliced jalapenos and a couple of
teaspoons of the juice (depends on your taste buds)
*1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic (not powder)
*1/2 teaspoon cumin
*3 to 4 teaspoons cilantros (dried or fresh)
*2 1/2 teaspoons of salt
*5 teaspoons white vinegar
• Drain most of the juice from the tomatoes.
• Mix all ingredients in blender & chop to desired consistency.
• Pour into sauce pan, cover & heat until boiling.
• Remove, let chill.
• Keep refrigerated.
