Do I mark this received? The ISBNs are completely different. Since both books are anthologies, there author list is similar and the title is the same. But the book is a different one. The one I received is book 1 and the one I ordered is book 3.

Do I mark it received with problem? or do I not mark it at all since it isn't the book I orderd?

Yes, you should mark it RWAP - wrong book received.

Tracy,

Marking it as received with a problem won't get your credit returned automatically.  You'll need to PM the sender and request your credit back.  If the sender asks you to send the book back, you may choose to do so, but you are not so required.   If you do send it back, you may consider asking for another credit to reimburse you for the postage.

You always relist the book and have that person grab it off your shelf.

I would not relist the book and have them grab it unless they have refunded your inital  credit.  By sending it back to them without receiving your initial credit, you are in essence paying for the book you wanted twice.

Example: If you sent out a book with postage for $2.13.  You requested this book.  You find there is a problem and it is not the book that matches the ISBN you ordered.  You now relist the book and the original sender reorders it.  You spend another $2.13 in postage.  They mark it received and you receive the credit.  You have now spent $4.26 in postage to have 1 credit.

On RWPs where the sender agrees there was a problme, the original sender should buddy you back the credit.  Once that is complete then if you and they so choose, you can post the book for them to order.
