I got the new Nook Tablet for Christmas and I am more than excited!!! This is my first e-reader or tablet. I have been basically living off of it for the past few days and mostly searching and browsing different features and apps.

I'm going through the forums now...but let me know which ones I should be watching! Thanks :)

I'm new to all of this...so anyone has any tips or ebooks discounts (lol) let me know, I'd appreciate it!

Congratulations, how exciting! I have the Nook Color tablet. So I don't know a lot about the one you have. You can learn from folks here and also on mobilread.com

I've been trying to find a cute case for it...but haven't had much luck. I love the Kate Spade ones that Barnes and Noble carries---but I am not paying $80+ for a case!!!

I checked ebay---didn't really see anything I liked. Anyone know any other websites I could check out?? I do not want to spend a lot for a case.

B&N has an eBay store.  The prices run lower.  (They are probably returns.)

M edge has a website with colors.

Etsy usually has handmade covers.

I beleive they NT is the same size as the NC and can go in the same case. I got one for $16 which is pretty nice.

Yes, if you look at the B&N site, all of the Nook Color/Nook Tablet covers are the same.

I have a question about my purchases for the nook.

What if something happens to my nook...and it won't work or something along those lines-----Would I lose my books that I purchased?? Would I lose the games I purchased?? Is there anyway to save them?? I know B&N.com has my library on file...but I was still wondering, espeically since I do not see any apps in my library (games).

Let me know, Thanks!!! :)

You Have to keep cr card on file with B&N...you Cant use them on any other eReaders But you can on Tablets by downloading the Apps for Android thru B&N.   You cant buy Amazon eBooks either.
