Thank goodness for short chapters! There is so much happening on these pages, the shorter chapters helps keep everyone and everything straight.

Eddie just can't seem to win. He was shot by his wife. And while he was in jail because he's a thief, his wife took off with his business partner, Nick.

Nick isn't done playing with Eddie's head, and when Eddie is released for jail, he comes up with a plan to rob a bank.

And the it just gets wild!

The action and excitement just doesn't stop! I don't know yet I feel about Eddie. I felt sorry for him at times, and then he would do something that would have me shaking my head at his naivety. Either way, his character was well-written and believable.

Lots of secondary characters, including a prostitute with a heart of gold. Did I mention how fast the story flies?

Told from the viewpoint of a criminal, this was a fun read for me.

Thank you to the author, George Snyder, who supplied a digital copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
