Good old fashioned "bodice-ripper". Wonderful story about a half breed Commanche and his wealthy bride. Summer's sister is kidnapped by another band of Commanches and Lance is asked to rescue her. His only payment - marriage to Summer. Together they learn to trust and love each other.

This book was better than I expected given that it is a early 1990's western historical romance. The storyline is basically half indian man makes it rich and rich white girl looses her social standing. She needs his help to rescue her sister from indians and he demands she marry him in exchange. He takes her into indain territory and she gets to feel the discrimination that he suffered his whole life. they fall in love and bridge the gap between him and both the white and the indian peoples.
