I was checking out the upcoming release dates for books and saw that the cover for Dating outside your DNA has a picture of a guy who was also on the cover of Shadow Kiss!  I guess those guy's get around on the paranormal cover art circuit?  LOL!

There is a chapter on cover art and the models in Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches Guide to Romance Novels. Yes, they do get around.

Is it Nathan Kamp? That guys has gotten around, so much so that yes I know his name and I can spot him from a mile away. He had his own cooking webshow, dunno if he still does, but it was pretty interesting to watch.

LOL, Ashley, I don't think that one was Nathan. (for once)  I can see where a cooking show with him would be interesting to watch. Did he wear nothing but an apron? ; )

Speaking of book covers, take a look at the cover of The Empath by Bonnie Vanak.  What in the world is wrong with this picture?  Did he just smell something really awfull?

You're right Pamela--that is not the best looking facial expression I've seen on a coverboy:lol:  If he's actually good looking--I surely cannot tell from that depiction:lol:

OMG Nathan floats my boat like no ohter.  It's so bad I find myself almost buying books just because he's on the cover. hehe

Oh my god. I just realized that Nathan Kamp has been on a RIDICULOUS amount of the covers of books I've read. Multiple times from Christine Feehan, Marjorie M. Liu, Sherrilyn Kenyon, and the new book I just got from Jennifer Ashley titled 'The Calling.'

I'm horrified and really creeped out, in an, "I only JUST figured this out... after 5 years?!" kind of way.

I really can't figure out which is the worst:

1) he's on at least one book cover for every author I have

2) I actually have at least one picture of him for any given author in my personal library, which makes me feel like I've been subconsciously stalking him

or 3) I ONLY JUST FIGURED THIS OUT!!!

Disturbing?! Why yes, yes it is. On all of those levels...

I love when I get new books and he's on the cover because it just makes me laugh hysterically.

No different than the extremely ridiculous volume of covers Fabio was on back in the day:lol:   You can't make his face look any different simply by altering his hair color and outfit:lol:   Wonder if the other models of the day back then thought about putting a hit out on him so they'd get some work =)

I wonder how much he gets paid per cover.

I too feel dumb, had no idea I was seeing the same guy on almost every cover. Geesh!

I just googled him and found this blog on all his covers

http://ravensanctuary.blogspot.com/

I am another one who never realized how many books I have read with him on the cover.  Yikes!

Not about the male models on the cover, but last fall I saw a book where the female was wearing the same exact dress we bought my daughter for Homecoming Court. it was a failry distinctive Besty & Adam dress.

The cover was the type that started as a photograph and then was stylized to look more like a painting. But was definitly the same dress.
