Norman conqueror, Mathieu Fitz Autier, is under orders by King William to secure the holding of Inglewald and return its nobles to London for trial and possible death. He relishes the opportunity to take for himself a little bit of the respect that his position of illegitimate son in his father's household has long denied him.
