The book is a easy read if you can tear a book up . But the charecters draw you into the story very fast. I have read all of Curts books and know him personaly and i must say if you are looking for a good fast read pick them up. He captures the seattle area of the 40's well and i can rember some of the places that were still in the there when I was kid. He is also working ona new series that will use Jakes kid as the main charecter taking over jakes P.I. Gig. And again if you enjoy crime noir and want a grat fast read check out all Curts books... Also all the cover art pics are areas from seattle as are the names of the books all come from Seattle Soried Past...
