This is my first book by this author, and though I had a little trouble accepting some of the facts as being very realistic, I did enjoy the book. I will read more of Ms. Britton's books.
Well-written tale with interesting characters, though the premise of a duke and a market-maid with a happily-ever-after ending is too far-fetched in my opinion. This author does wonderful historical novels.
This book was excellent. Didn't actually have much to do with a scandal, but entertaining. A quick read, read it all the way through, fast paced.
I just loved this book! Wonderful story with great characters.
Another 'Fairy Tale' as is the companion book 'Tempted'. They could be updated 'Cinderella' stories. It is hard for me to think that such a story would be a possibility in that period of British history. Don't think I'll be reading any more of Ms. Britton's stories.
