This is rather unimportant, but I thought it was odd... My most recent DC book received had the wrong city show up at the end!
7/12/2010 8:00 PM ET - Electronic Shipping Info Received - BAKERSFIELD, CA
7/12/2010 10:24 PM ET - Enroute - SANTA CLARITA, CA
7/14/2010 1:20 PM ET - Enroute - PORTLAND, OR
7/15/2010 8:46 AM ET - Arrival at Unit - CHINOOK, WA
7/15/2010 8:52 AM ET - Notice Left - WARRENTON, OR
7/15/2010 5:52 PM ET - Delivered - WARRENTON, OR
I live in Chinook! It's a small, one employee PO. We did get a new postmaster maybe two months ago, and I think she worked in Warrenton before, but all my earlier scans with her (7/2 was the most recent one before that) show the book delivered i Chinook. I mentioned it to her today and she seemed a bit concerned, said she would look into it, so Monday I will print out the full DC info for her. Any theories? Likely her individual P O (employee) code wasn't updated with her new location |

That's interesting. So packages are scanned in by employee number and not by post office identifier? |

Looks like she typed in the Warrenton zip by mistake. The delivery zip is entered when the scanner is set up each day and can be changed when the item is delivered or attempted. |

That makes the most sense, because it was right for previous days since she started working there, but I can see making that mistake without realizing it. |
