This novel is set mostly in NYC where Scarpetta is working in the office of the Chief Medical Examiner. It is a bit twisty in the plot, involving people from Benton's past, mostly. It moves along well, and does not have repetition, her novels are great and suspenseful.. All the usual characters are in it. Worth a read!
