School for Murder - aka Little Victims
Author: Robert Barnard
Hilariously satirizing Britain's education system, a mystery at the Burleigh School involves the inept leadership of its headmaster, Edward Crumwallis. When Mr. Crumwallis, the obtuse and penny-pinching headmaster at Burleigh School, selects obsequious but evil-minded Hilary Frome to be head boy, disruptive pranks soon become life-threatening.

Very entertaining mystery -- Barnard is a great mystery writer, and you can't beat an English boys' school for a cozy murder.

The usual Barnard - sharp, witty, full of humor as well as crime. Malice in the dorms of the boys'school, faculty rivaly, and an incredibly naive headmaster add up to a delightful read. "Chills and chuckles" - San Diego Union from the cover.

Great story about a mystery in a below average "public" English school.
