"In this book are 11 examples of the kind of quilts that Depression-era women created. Reproduction prints, widely available at fabric and quilt shops, make it easy to recreate the 30's look today."

These quilts are absolutely beautiful! The Broken Star quilt is one of the most beautiful and colorful that I've seen. The stitcher who is able to create one of these masterpieces will be admired by all who see the finished piece. If you love the look of days gone by (or even if you have a trendy, hip space), one of these quilts will add a beautiful splash of color to any room in which it is displayed. Any of these would make a fabulous gift to someone who can appreciate the work that goes into such a masterpiece.
