First book I read by this author (even though its second in a series). A pleasant surprise. A quick read with paranormal (demons and selkies) but light romance as well. Not as funny as Lynsay Sands but enjoyable and I plan to read others by her.

This book is a direct follow-up to the first book in the Children of the Sea trilogy, "Sea Witch". This is Dylan and Regina's story. I actually thought it was a more exciting read than the first book, and more satisfying, as more of the back story concerning the mer people is revealed.

After reading the first book in this series, I started reading this one with low expectations which were aptly met. I still found most of the characters annoying but I kept reading because I wanted to see what was going to happen with the selkie people. I was grateful that it wsa a quick read.
