Can you find people with the largest book shelves? I think this would be a neat feature to beable to search.

I don't think there is that option but it would be neat to see who has the most books posted.

I am sending a book to the person that is the top sender.  she has sent out over 3000 books in about 3 years.  I don't even want to think about that amount of postage!

I don't know if I'd want that either.  I tend to skip a shelf it there's 100's of books. Just too much to wade through even after you narrow it down by genre. Since I like more than one genre.  Plus I always worry about how could they possible keep track of all those books.

I think you can search the shelves of boxers even if you aren't a boxer.  So you could type in a popular book title and when the names come up it'll say how many books they have posted.

ETA: You could post in the CMT or the Bazaar and ask for people to post if they have a large shelf and how many they have. Then you could look that way.

I only offer audio books and have 500 on mine.  It is amazing what some people want from the past.  Even audios  15 years old.

I'm under 400! I'm under 400!  Thanks to a recent person taking me up on my 7 for 26 offer I dipped under 400.

I don't have much trouble keeping track of them--but I've got enough right now it's a little bit of a pain. I have a bookshelf designated for PBS books.  Right now I have a couple flats on the floor in front of it, which makes me nervous because that's awful close to books I'm sorting or donating or otherwise not PBSing.

Which is why I was hoping my large-number-of-book deals would get more bites, so I could fit back on my shelf. But so far, not so many.  I seem to get one taker every time I post that deal (whenever my shelf gets too big), but only one!

I have over 1800 on my shelf and it can be a pain keeping track of them all.  I would say I have about 5000 in my keep library with about 500 of those being cookbooks.

"Plus I always worry about how could they possible keep track of all those books"

We have over 1400 on our two shelves combined (DH & I) with another 600+ to be posted and about 4500 in our keep library. We use a database to keep track of them all. Most people with that many books have to have some sort of system for filing or tracking their books. They actually probably know more about where their books are then the people that have only a couple hundred! They have to be more meticulous or it would be total chaos :)

We mark which library they go in, where they are located, and when they are posted then sent, or read then posted then sent. But, occasionally, we do lose a book here or there. They just sprout little legs and move over a couple stacks. It's just amazing to me! We keep them alphabetized by author then title, (HC & oversized from the regular sized PBs) and like I say, every-now-and-then!!!
