Same authors, so I had hoped this book would give me more information about vampires in general, rather than just a history of Vlad Tepes. Although this book gives a decent amount of information on Vlad Tepes and the legends about him from German and Russian Folklore, it doesn't talk about vampires in general. It has an awesome list of books and movies related to Vampires, but those only go up to 1992. Overall it isn't a bad book, but I found other books to be more informative and less dry than this one.
