I have several wishlist titles that I would intend on posting soon (Precious and The Lucky One etc). I would love to search wishlists to try to find one person with all these (or some) on their wishlist to save on postage simply because I am cheap. Is there a way to search wishlists other than in individuals profiles? I am sure this question has been asked 1000x but I couldn't find a thread on it. No. You can post in the Bazaar in Sherry's thread offering multiple Wish List books, but there is no way to search the Wish Lists. The site wants people to post the books to the next person in line so having an option in the system to help you bypass FIFO would be counterproductive to that. They do understand the financial situation these days though and have allowed one thread in the Bazaar to offer Wish List books for multiple shipping now. |

Blargle. I love this site but I see SO many things I would fix about it if it were MINE! I understand that FIFO reigns supreme here, but it would be nice if some things were malleable. |

Most of the genre threads have Is This On Your WL Threads as well. If the BB and the genre threads don't help: you could try just posting one and then checking that person's WL. If they're part of a series or similar genres they might have more than one of hte books on their WL. Whenever someone orders a book from me, I check their WL. Frequently I have something else on their WL in my TBR. I've only been turned down once when I asked if I could post another book to their WL. (I PM first incase the person is out of credits-I wouldn't want someone to lose their place in line or have to scramble to get one because I jumped them ahead of the line without them knowing). |
