I got a letter in the mail from an organization telling me that they had sent a book under a member's name and please mark received. The print out shows me mailing to them. It is a weird situaltion and not in m tranaction archive. They did send a request number, but I do not know how to look it up. Any ideas? |

That sounds really weird. I would send the transaction ID to PBS through Feedback and ask them to look into it and see if they can figure it out. |

It was a book I sent to them. No record of it in the system anywere. |

Could a member have selected the book to be mailed to a third party? Which would mean that the member who ordered the book must mark it as received? But that would be in your Transaction Archive. Only PBS has access to the numbers that appear on the return labels. |

I think there is something odd about receiving a letter in the mail about a book transaction here. That just doesn't sit right with me. Have you contacted TPTB about this? Not just to look up the transaction ID, but the situation in general? It just doesn't seem right. |

The PBSTeam has no record of it in the system? They have a record of every transaction here. If they don't have a record, then it is not a real PBS transaction. Members can't look up transaction numbers that easily, but the Team sure can. Nothing sounds right about that interaction. If you mailed them a book, then there would be no reason to contact you to marke it received, they would need mark it received. |
