I want to search my reminder list by author.  The first 16 books listed are not listed by author.... it starts listing by author on the 17th book.... The first was by Ron Rash, followed by Nora Roberts, Robinson, Perri, Green, Mbue.... you get the picture!

I thought search was fixed?  What gives!

I resort to author and then I get them by the aurhor

I see the same thing when I sort by Author Ascending. The problem is that these books don't actually have an author attached! I am pretty sure most of them used to have author and it has been removed. Here is an example. That book had Christian Jacq listed as the author before. I am going to send it in as Feedback.

My wishlist is missing a ton of authors, too.

Yes, listing the books that do not have an author at the top of the "sort by author" list IS a fix to something that people long complained about, which was that (before the fix) the books just disappeared altogether if there was no author listed for them, when you sorted by author.

If you have 450 books on your list, there should be 450 books on your list, no matter how you sort it.

And if you choose to sort on an attribute that not all books have (author) ... then the proper behavior is to just group those books without that attribute at the start or end of the list. Not just disappear them.

The answer is, now it works correctly.
