Is there a way I can search books with particular tags, for instance, "must read before you die" or something like that? I want a great book, not a mediocre book, and those that are tagged as such, I want to see THOSE.

I am too old to be wasting my time on books that I'm not enjoying, and so I'm being way more picky as to my choices. And, when something's not clicking, I no longer feel I have to finish it.

I KNOW I've been able to search these before, I just can't remember HOW.

Thanks, y'all!

Robin

what do you read?

If you put a name in the search box above and press search, look on the left side of the results you get and there is a more detailed area for searches that may be what you are looking for.

May try the book to get the list.

1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die (ISBN 978-1844037407) is a literary reference book compiled by over one hundred literary critics worldwide and edited by Peter Boxall, Professor of English at Sussex University,[1] with an introduction by Peter Ackroyd. Each title is accompanied by a brief synopsis and critique briefly explaining why the book was chosen. Some entries have illustrations. This book is part of a series from Quintessence Editions Ltd.

I would like to recommend the Hidden Gems forum.

You can find the club tags under Community. Down near the bottom of the pull down menu is Club Tag Cloud.

To add to what Emily said, if you click on Club Tag Cloud, then click on a tag there, you get the list of those books with that tag.

Under club book lists, there is a list of 1001 books to read.  Try that.

Also, if you add the tag to a book, you can then click on the tag to find other books with the same tag. (Be sure to delete the tag you added, if it doesn't apply.)

I am brand new to the site.  I have a request for a book.  How do I print the paperwork that goes with the book.  I see nothing that says print.  thanks

Click on one of the "I can mail this book" buttons. Then the print button will come up. From there a window opens where you choose which label or wrapper you want, check to make sure the weight is correct and if you are using printed postage. The label/wrapper will open as a PDF, which you print out. The help docs will give you more info if you need it.

Please note that you need to download the PDF. Or select the hand write the label option. You do not need to print it out, but the downloading triggers the system to report that you printed the label.
