This is the first time I have read Katie Fforde and I definitely will seek her stuff out again.
This books is kind of marketed as a romance but it's really not. The relationship between Perdita and her ex-husband, Lucas, is almost an afterthought. A big part of the novel is about how Perdita deals with lost and grief. Regardless it was a really good read.

The usual breezy, witty romantic comedy that Katie Fforde does so well. Interesting storyline with lots of twists and turns. A fun book!

I LOVED THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE MAIN CHARACTER AND THE OLDER EXCENTRIC LADY. THE ROMANCE WITH THE EX WAS NOT SO GREAT AND NOT SO BELIEVABLE, BUT THE COURAGE AND DRIVE OF THE SALAD LADY WAS UNBELIEVABLE.

This book was cute, fun and nice for a weekend. It's a fast read and even though it is predictable, the characters weren't annoying or over the top. I really enjoyed this book.
