This is an excellent series of books of historical fiction - putting "flesh" on the people and events of the time. Just be sure to have the next book in the series before you finish the one you're reading!!

This is my favorite book of the AD Chronicles series so far. This book is centered on Christ's mercy and compassion for the lepers. People that were forgotten, shunned and made to feel lower than dirt.

When I think about all of the things that are in the Bible, I then can't help but wonder about the countless things that Jesus did on earth that were not recorded. This story would be a fulfillment of what Jesus may have done while here that we don't know about. Truly inspiring...
