Inspector Morse mystery set on New Year's Day, after a New Year's Eve costume party and murder.

This plot is so twisted and turned around, at one time or another, I thought each person in the story comitted the murder! Also, keep a dictionary handy. Some of Mr. Dexter's choice of words are unknown to me. I enjoyed the story very much overall, though.
