Oversize Paperback, first in new series. I was excited to discover a new author. Our book group read this as one month's "assignment". One member is a Stackpole afficionado; however I found too much extraneous violence and brutality, and too many threads, too many place and people "names" to keep track of. Not my favorite, but if you are a Stackpole fan, you'll like it!
